Dark Romance | Hand-Painted 14" Twisted Glass Waterpipe

Dark Romance is a 14" twisted glass waterpipe with a see-through neon pink glass base that glows under blacklight. I painted alternating sections of the twisted tube in black, leaving the others transparent so the neon pink glass still shines through underneath.
 
I wanted to try making something more elevated and different so I went in with metallic gold flourishes inspired by Vintage Art Deco vines, curling and winding across the black and pink sections of the glass. At the end of each curl is a crystal white gem, adding little flashes of sparkle and glam throughout the design.
 
The combination of glowing pink glass, black painted sections, metallic gold and crystal white gems gives this piece a darker kind of elegance. It's got that gothic statement piece meets Art Deco glamour thing going on, with enough drama to make it feel like it belongs somewhere much fancier.
 
And when the blacklight comes on, the pink glass gets to completely change the mood. 💗

Recommended Care:
Let the bong cool completely before cleaning. Clean the glass like you normally would with your fave cleaners, but I suggest to use a soft cloth around the painted areas and avoid abrasive scrubbers or tools directly on the artwork to keep it looking glossy and fresh for longer!
 
A little Moonstoned note: Every piece is individually hand-painted, so even if I repeat a theme, no two will have exactly the same design. Making sure your pieces are always one of a kind and uniquely yours!
