Newfoundland Canada Inspired Custom Hand-painted bong

It was forever on my bucketlist to do a wedding custom. So when Emily reached out to me to create this custom painted piece as a wedding gift for a bride and groom I knew it had to be special and beautiful!

The couples wedding colours were green and purple so we started with a purple base to keep it on theme. From there it was inspired by their hometown and the place where they were getting married. Special details like the famous Newfoundland Jellybean Houses colorfully line up around the tube and opposite them features their favorite Cape Spear lighthouse. All the windows have a metallic silver finish to give a fun mirrored effect. Then we left it with a clear glass sky so when you smoke it gives it a fun "foggy Sunday morning coffee" vibe.

From there you move lower to the rocky grasslands at the edge of the island featuring local plants and animals. I included flowers like asters, foxglove, parsnip, daisies and animals like the artic hare, a martin and a newfoundland coyote. Under the Lighthouse the client had requested the special feature of including Puffins. As the couples favorite animal I had to include 7 Puffins for good luck and abundance for their marriage.

This piece is literally a little island of its own. So many fun little details painted all over with a romantically magical back story. I love bringing special pieces like this to life!
